What is Sculptra®

Sculptra® is a volumizing treatment made from poly-lactic acid that stimulates the production of new collagen. The Sculptra® treatment restores fullness to the face affected by facial wrinkles and folds by replacing lost collagen deep within the dermis.

When can I expect to see results?

Immediately after treatment, you may experience swelling in the affected area, making it appear fuller. The swelling will disappear within a few days, making it seem as if you didn’t have anything done. You will start producing collagen after receiving Sculptra® injections. It usually takes three weeks for people to notice a difference. You will continue to see improvements for about three months following your Sculptra® injections.

How long does the effects of Sculptra® typically last?

The FDA has approved Sculptra® to last two years, but it may last longer for some patients.

Will I have any downtime after Sculptra® treatments?

You should not experience any downtime after Sculptra® treatments, but you may experience some redness, swelling, and bruising for a short amount of time.
